Tim Burton MOMA

On a recent trip to New York, I was lucky enough to visit the MOMA which was currently hosting an exhibit featuring Tim Burton. Burton, thought up Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Nightmare before Christmas etc. ect. ect..... He continues to fascinate anyone with an ounce of imagination. Let's talk about Tim Burton. His life is like one big oxymoron- creepy, twisted, strange but yet enchanting, loving, and a gentle romantic. Often many of his characters have this outcast-ish, reclusive way about them. Buried underneath all their creepy, weirdo ways is this loving caring heart you long for- a reflection of Burton himself. I loved going to visit this exhibit. It was purely outlandishly genius- equip with black light rooms, mechanical sculptures, drawings, movie costumes, movie rough drafts, and paintings. If your around NYC stop in, you'll be delighted.
